Every NHL team has an affiliated AHL team that they like to farm players in. Basically these teams are for the players who aren't quite yet ready for the big leagues but will soon be there. Most NHL teams will have a completely different name and jersey look for their minor league team but the Boston Bruins have chosen to really just spell it out for everyone with the Providence Bruins.
I thought this picture of the Providence Bruins goalie jersey was a really good one so I'd like to share it with you now. Hockey jerseys can be some of the most artistic pieces of sports equipment and goalie equipment is always looking for ways to dazzle the eyes and fool the senses. Though, I'm not sure why it says Montreal on his goalie stick...
